The Junior Dogs are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Our programing and teams are continuously evolving.
All of our programs and teams are intended to supplement Portland Little League and provide additional and advanced baseball & softball training for anyone interested.
Scholarships are available as needed.

Winter Baseball Training (January - April)
Ages: 9-15
Practice: 1-2x a week
Location: Lyman Moore Gym
Cost: $150-$200

Junior Dogs Travel Teams (April - July)
Ages 10 - 15

10U, 11/12U Teams
Games: Play double headers one day week on either Sat or Sunday.  (12-16 total games per season) 
Participate in local league against neighboring towns. 
Break in the season during Little League All-Stars season
Tournaments:  Target 2 weekend tournaments for each team.  Memorial Day Tournament  typically requires overnight hotel stays and mid to end of July Tournament at Maine's Fenway (Oakland, ME).
Cost: $500 (However costs can be be reduced to $250 through fundraising efforts)

13/14U Team
Games: Play double headers one day week on either Sat or Sunday.  (12-16 total games per season) 
Participate in regional league with travel limited to 1h15m

15U Team
Team will either play weekend double headers in a regional league or target 2-3 tournaments. 
Season will begin after high school season ends. 

Summer Tournament Teams (June - mid July)
Ages: 9U
Practice: 3 days a week - begins after Little League season ends
Tournament in Mid July - Maine's Fenway Summer Classic, Oakland ME. 
Cost: $75
